What is the Hydraulic System

Hydraulic systems are a kinetic energy engine (sometimes an electric motor, sometimes a diesel engine), a hydraulic pump to convert it into hydraulic energy, and hydraulic hoses to transfer it to the desired location, throttling, splitting, and transmission of these movements with various valve and valve systems. It consists of a tank that stores hydraulic oil. The strength created by this structure is that they work with structures such as hydraulic arms and wheels. Construction machinery is a kind of mobile hydraulic systems.

The complete hydraulic system is to increase the force by changing the pressure. A complete hydraulic system consists of five parts, namely power components, actuators, control components, auxiliary components (accessories) and hydraulic oil. Hydraulic systems can be divided into two categories: hydraulic transmission systems and hydraulic control systems. The hydraulic transmission system mainly transfers power and motion. The hydraulic control system must make the output of the hydraulic system meet specific performance requirements (especially dynamic performance). Generally speaking, the hydraulic system mainly refers to the hydraulic transmission system.

The function of the power element is to convert the mechanical energy of the prime mover into the pressure energy of the liquid. It refers to the oil pump in the hydraulic system, which provides power to the entire hydraulic system. The structure of the hydraulic pump is generally gear pump, vane pump and piston pump.

Hydraulic system;

1.Achieves great forces (powers) with small pressures,

2.It takes much less space than alternative systems,

3.It operates silently (as in the power steering),

4.It is safe (there is no explosion, there is a risk of fire if it leaks),

5.Speed control can be done without stopping the running system,

6.Hydraulic energy is easy to obtain, control and control. It can be controlled from a single center with automatic control,

7.Safe against sudden pressure spikes and shocks,

8.Movement direction change can be done very quickly,

9.Easy to repair and maintain (hydraulic systems require expertise to diagnose the fault and find the cause of the main fault),

10.Parts life is long (in case of necessary cleaning and filtration),

11.Operation and maintenance costs are low (initial investment cost is high),

It cools and heats itself,

12.It is very efficient in transmitting power over long distances (While transmitting power, its losses are very low, but hydraulic energy can be carried up to a maximum of 100 m).

13.While the system is working, it lubricates itself, there is not much corrosion problem,
