A2FM Motor

A2FM series are inclined shaft type quantitative piston motors, the working principle is based on the inclined shaft structure, through the reciprocating movement of the piston in the cylinder, the hydraulic energy is converted into mechanical energy to output torque and speed, to realize the driving function of the equipment.


First, Application Scenarios


A2FM motor is widely used in many fields of construction machinery, such as as the hydraulic power motor in Zoomlion concrete mixer trucks, providing power for the rotation of the mixing drum; it is also suitable for rotary drilling rigs, coal mining machinery, roadheaders, coal mining machines and other equipment, to meet the power requirements under different working conditions.

The common models include Rexroth A2FM90, AA2FM90/61W and so on. Different models differ in displacement, pressure, speed, torque and other parameters to meet different application scenarios and working requirements. For example, the “90” in A2FM90 usually represents the displacement specification of the motor, and the displacement size will affect the output torque and speed characteristics of the motor.


Third, Product Characteristics of A2FM motor


1. Quantitative characteristics: as a quantitative hydraulic motor, its displacement is fixed, and under a certain input pressure and flow rate, the output speed and torque are relatively stable, which can provide reliable power output for the equipment, and it is suitable for work occasions where the speed and torque requirements are relatively stable.


2. Fourth, common failures and causes


1.No hydraulic oil output: the motor may be broken internal shaft; if the motor drive, the electrical circuit is reversed; hydraulic oil viscosity is not suitable, the tank level is too low, the filtration accuracy and through the oil area is unreasonable, the suction pipeline valves are not open and the suction filter element is dirty or damaged, etc., may lead to the normal output of hydraulic oil.


2. Noisy: valve spool failure, electrical circuit failure, connecting key off or damaged, motor internal fit clearance is not appropriate and improper selection of hydraulic fluid, etc., may produce large noise.


Fifth, maintenance methods and procedures


1. For no hydraulic oil output fault

Check the viscosity of the hydraulic oil, not suitable when replacing the appropriate hydraulic oil.

Check the level of the hydraulic oil tank, too low to increase the hydraulic oil to the normal level.

Check the filtration accuracy and oil through the area is reasonable, unreasonable adjustment.

Check whether the valve in the suction line is open, open the valve if it is not open.

Clean or replace the oil suction filter element to ensure its normal operation.

Check or adjust the variable mechanism (if any) to ensure the normal operation of the motor.


2. For noisy malfunction

Repair the valve spool to ensure it works properly.

Check and troubleshoot the electrical wiring to ensure that it is properly connected.

Replace or replace the connecting key to ensure that the connecting key works properly.

Disassemble the motor to repair, reassemble and make the fit clearance to meet the requirements.

Check the selection of hydraulic oil, improper selection, then replace the appropriate hydraulic oil.
