Classification and Symbol of Hydraulic Directional Control Valves

Hydraulic directional valve can be simply divided into check valve and directional valve, check valve is relatively simple, the category of directional valve is complex, there are many icons, today elephant fluid power will mainly introduce you to the relevant symbols of hydraulic directional valve and its meaning, hope to help you.

1. Classification of directional valves

Classified by structure: rotary valve type, spool valve type;

Classified according to the number of valve core working positions: two-digit, three-digit and multi-position, etc.;

Classified according to the number of import and export channels: two-way, three-way, four-way and five-way, etc.;

Classified by operation and control mode: manual, motorized, electric, hydraulic electro-hydraulic, etc.;

Classified by installation method: tubular type, plate type and flange type, etc.

2. The meaning of the graphic symbol of the hydraulic directional valve

(1) Bit - represented by squares, several digits are several squares

(2) Pass—↑ Not—┴, ┬; The beginning and end of the arrow and the interception symbol have several intersections with a square

(3) P, A, B, T have fixed orientations; P—oil inlet, T(O)—oil return; A, B - working ports connected to the actuator

(4) Control mode and return spring - W, drawn on both sides of the square. Two-position valve, by the spring of one compartment.

(5) Normal position (in the schematic diagram, the oil circuit should be connected in the normal position)

3. The representation method of 'pass' and 'bit'

'Several digits' indicates that the directional valve has several operating states. It is usually expressed by the number of squares representing the valve body. For example, a two-position valve or a three-position valve will have two or three squares on the Tufu.

'Several passes' can be determined by the total number of points and arrow lines and T lines intersecting on the square in the normal position of the directional valve.

4. Meaning of graphic symbols

1. Use boxes to indicate the working position of the reversing valve, and there are several boxes to indicate that there are several positions.

2. The arrow in the box indicates that the oil circuit is on, but the direction of the arrow does not necessarily indicate the actual direction of the oil flow.

3. Use 'T' to indicate that the oil circuit is impassable.

4. A few dots outside the box indicate several passes.

5. The oil inlet of the reversing valve is usually represented by P, the oil return port is represented by T, and the oil discharge port is represented by L.

6. When drawing the reversing valve system diagram, the oil circuit is usually drawn in the normal position box.

7. When the directional valve has two or more positions, there must be a normal position, that is, the position when the valve core is not subjected to the manipulation force. The normal position of the two-position valve is the box near the spring, and the normal position of the three-position valve is the middle box.
