First of all, the faults of the hydraulic directional valve are: the valve cannot be reversed or the reversing action is slow, gas leakage, the electromagnetic pilot valve is faulty, etc.

(1) The hydraulic directional valve cannot be reversed or the reversing action is slow, which is generally caused by poor lubrication, the spring is stuck or damaged, and the oil or impurities are stuck in the sliding part. In this regard, you should first check whether the lubricator is working normally; Whether the viscosity of the lubricating oil is appropriate. If necessary, the lubricating oil should be replaced, the sliding part of the hydraulic reversing valve should be cleaned, or the spring and hydraulic reversing valve should be replaced.


(2) After long-term use, the hydraulic reversing valve is prone to the phenomenon of valve core seal ring wear, stem and valve seat damage, resulting in gas leakage in the valve, slow operation of the valve or failure to change the direction normally. At this time, the sealing ring, stem and valve seat should be replaced, or the hydraulic reversing valve should be replaced.


(3) If the inlet and exhaust holes of the electromagnetic pilot valve are blocked by debris such as oil sludge, the sealing is not strict, the movable iron core is stuck, the circuit is faulty, etc., it can cause the hydraulic reversing valve to not be reversed normally. For the first three cases, the sludge and impurities on the pilot valve and movable core should be cleaned. Circuit faults are generally divided into two categories: control circuit faults and solenoid coil faults. Before checking the circuit failure, the manual knob of the hydraulic reversing valve should be turned a few times to see whether the hydraulic reversing valve can be reversed normally under the rated air pressure, if it can be reversed normally, it is a faulty circuit. When checking, the voltage of the solenoid coil can be measured with an instrument to see whether the rated voltage is reached, and if the voltage is too low, the power supply in the control circuit and the associated travel switch circuit should be further checked. If the hydraulic directional valve cannot be reversed normally under the rated voltage, the joint (plug) of the solenoid coil should be checked whether it is loose or has false contact. The method is to unplug the plug and measure the resistance of the coil, if the resistance is too large or too small, it means that the solenoid coil is damaged and should be replaced


The maintenance of hydraulic directional valves is a matter that requires special attention, carelessness may cause secondary damage to the product and affect subsequent use. The specific maintenance methods are as follows:


(1) Disassembly. Although the parts of the hydraulic valve are mostly bolted between each other, the hydraulic valve design is oriented to non-disassembly, and if there is no special equipment or professional technology, forced disassembly is likely to cause hydraulic valve damage. Therefore, before disassembly, it is necessary to master the structure of the hydraulic valve and the connection method between the parts, and record the position relationship between the parts when disassembling.


(2) Check and clean up. Check the dirt deposition of the valve body, valve core and other parts, and remove the concentrated dirt with cotton yarn, brush and non-metallic scraper without damaging the working surface.

(3) Coarse washing. Place the valve body, valve spool and other parts on the tray of the cleaning tank and heat and soak. Compressed air is passed into the bottom of the cleaning tank, and the residual dirt is cleaned through the stirring of bubbles, and ultrasonic cleaning can be used if conditions permit.

(4) Fine washing. Cleaning is carried out with high-pressure positioning of the cleaning solution, and finally dried with hot air. Enterprises with conditions can use existing cleaning agents, and individual occasions can also use organic cleaning agents such as diesel and gasoline.

(5) Assembly. Assemble according to the hydraulic valve assembly diagram or the part assembly relationship recorded during disassembly, and be careful not to touch the parts when assembling. The original sealing material is easily damaged during disassembly and should be replaced during assembly.
