Maintenance Methods of Components of Hydraulic Drive Systems

The hydraulic system is a complete set of devices that use oil as the working medium, use the pressure energy of the oil and operate the hydraulic actuator through accessories such as control valves. In order to ensure that the hydraulic drive system is always in a good and stable operating state, improve the utilization rate and integrity rate of the equipment, prevent the occurrence of failures, and extend its service life has become a concern of many friends, the following by our elephant fluid power to introduce you to some maintenance knowledge about the hydraulic system.

  1. First of all, the reliability of the oil level of the tank and the sealing of the hydraulic system should be checked. When leaking at the tubing or hose joint, the nut should be tightened, and if the leakage cannot be eliminated, the hose should be replaced. If the rubber sealing ring leaks, the sealing ring should be inspected, and if there are cracks, wrinkles, peeling and other phenomena, it should be replaced with a new product.

  2. The connection of the hydraulic hose must prevent sharp bends and twists, and it is usually stipulated that the radius of curvature at the hose joint is not less than 8 times the outer diameter of the hose.

  3. Hydraulic pumps, distributors and hydraulic cylinders are generally not adjusted, and when they must be adjusted, they should be carried out by professionals on the test bench by professionals in the repair shop. Generally, it is not easy to disassemble, when it must be disassembled, do not knock, impact, fall and pay attention to cleaning, to prevent dirt due to disassembly. When disassembling hydraulic system components, pay attention to cleaning, to avoid dirt entering the hydraulic system and causing wear of mechanical parts, to plug the holes at the connection of each pipe with screw plugs, plug special plugs on the components, and strictly prohibit cotton yarn or rags to block.

  4. The oil pump should also not be adjusted casually. During regular inspections, make appropriate adjustments in a professional repair shop. The filter of the hydraulic system tank must be cleaned after every 200~300h of work. After cleaning, blow the vent cap of the tank with compressed air and clean the air holes.

  5. Pay attention to the following matters when replacing the hydraulic oil. The first is to turn off the engine and release the oil in the fuel tank and hydraulic system parts while it is hot. The second is to add the cleaning diesel fuel to the hydraulic system tank, start the engine, and lift the suspension device 4~5 times (make the hydraulic system work reciprocatingly). The third is to turn off the engine, respectively release the cleaned diesel from the fuel tank, distributor, oil cylinder, when the cylinder hose and the oil pipe are separated, the end face must be wrapped with a clean cloth or paper to prevent dust and dirt from entering the hose and oil pipe. The fourth is to take out the filter in the hydraulic tank and clean it with diesel.
