Solenoid Operated Hydraulic Directional Valve

Solenoid hydraulic directional valve is a more commonly used hydraulic directional valve, Elephant Fluid Power also has rich experience and good results in the production of this directional valve.

How it works:

There is a closed cavity in the solenoid valve, through holes in different positions, each hole is connected to a different oil pipe, the middle of the cavity is a piston, both sides are two solenoids, which side of the magnet coil energized valve body will be attracted to which side. Different oil drain holes are opened or closed by controlling the movement of the valve body. The oil inlet hole is normally open, the hydraulic oil will enter different oil discharge pipes, and then push the piston of the cylinder through the pressure of the oil, and the piston drives the piston rod, and the piston rod drives the mechanical device. In this way, the mechanical movement is controlled by controlling the current on/off of the electromagnet.

Installation notes:

  1. When installing, it should be noted that the arrow on the valve body should be consistent with the flow direction of the medium, and should not be installed in a place where there is direct dripping or splashing water, and the solenoid valve should be installed vertically

  2. The solenoid valve should ensure normal operation within the fluctuation range of 15%-10% of the rated voltage of the power supply voltage

  3. After the solenoid valve is installed, there must be no reverse pressure difference in the pipeline. And it needs to be powered on several times to make it suitable for temperature before it can be officially put into use

  4. The solenoid valve should be thoroughly cleaned before installation. The medium should be free of impurities. Valve front mounted filter

  5. When the solenoid valve fails or is cleaned, in order to ensure the continued operation of the system, a bypass device should be installed.

During the operation of the hydraulic system, P is connected to cavity A when the stop presses down the stroke reversing valve, but now it is not connected or semi-connected.

Fault analysis and troubleshooting:

Cause analysis:

  1. The return spring at the lower end of the stroke valve is installed incorrectly, and after complete compression, the spring height jacks up the spool, so that the width of the P-A open valve is not large enough or there is no opening.

  2. Due to poor heat treatment and other reasons, the stroke valve roller is strictly grinded

    Injure.

  3. The stroke causes the stop to be the wrong size or not well installed.

Troubleshooting:

  1. Spring replacement that meets the standard.

  2. Roller replacement.

  3. Correctly replace the stop or installation that meets the size.

The P and A cavities were supposed to be unconnected, but were still connected when the stop did not press down the stroke directional valve.

Cause analysis:

  1. There is a dirty wedge between the valve core and the valve hole and is stuck, and the return spring force at the lower end of the valve core is not enough to overcome its clamping force, so that the valve core function rises.

  2. The O-ring on the bonnet has too much holding force on the spool handle.

  3. The return spring is leaked or misinstalled, which is the insufficient return spring force.

  4. The burr is stuck at the sharp angle of the sinking groove of the valve hole, and the valve core cannot rise and reset.

Troubleshooting:

You can first loosen the valve cover, then straighten it, and then tighten the screw evenly diagonally to make the valve core move up and down flexibly.

Disassemble for cleaning and oil change.

The installation groove size should be replaced with an appropriate O-ring or an appropriate widening of the O-ring.

The missing ones should be made up, and the wrong ones should be corrected to increase the return force of the spring.

Burrs can be removed and the spool can be moved flexibly in the body bore.

The above is the relevant knowledge of electromagnetic hydraulic directional valve, Elephant Fluid Power with high-quality products and thoughtful after-sales service has a lot of repeat customers, in the industry also has a good reputation, if you have a need for electromagnetic hydraulic directional valve, choose Elephant Fluid Power.
