A10VSO pump is a high-performance axial piston pump produced by Bosch Rexroth, belonging to one kind of Rexroth oil pump.
First, the working principle
Through the reciprocating movement of the plunger in the cylinder hole to change the closed volume, the plunger pulls out the oil suction, pressure in the oil pressure. It adopts the volumetric working principle, and the variable is realized by adjusting the inclination angle of swash plate, which supports stepless adjustment and modular design.
Second, product features
1. High efficiency: the volumetric efficiency is more than 95%, which can effectively convert mechanical energy into hydraulic energy, reduce energy loss and improve the working efficiency of the system.
2. Wide pressure range: open circuit nominal pressure up to 280 bar, maximum pressure 350 bar, can meet the pressure requirements under different working conditions.
3. Variable adjustment: variable adjustment can be realized by adjusting the inclination angle of swash plate, supporting stepless adjustment, and the output flow can be flexibly adjusted according to the actual demand of the system.

Fourth, Working Principle
1. Structural Composition and Core Design
A10VSO pump adopts swash plate axial piston design, and the core components include pump cylinder, piston (plunger), oil distribution plate, swash plate, drive shaft and variable mechanism.
The plunger is arranged in parallel with the drive shaft, and the reciprocating motion is realized by the swash plate tilting angle. The piston pump design relies on the periodic reciprocating motion of the plunger in the cylinder to change the working volume of the pump chamber to complete the liquid suction and discharge.
2. Suction process
When the cylinder is rotated by the drive shaft, the plunger moves outward axially due to centrifugal force and hydraulic pressure. At this time, the plunger and the cylinder formed by the working volume of the cavity increases, the internal pressure decreases. When the pressure is lower than the inlet oil pressure, the inlet check valve opens, the hydraulic oil from the tank through the suction pipeline into the working chamber. The crescent-shaped groove on the oil distribution plate is connected to the chamber at this stage to ensure that the hydraulic oil is filled smoothly.
3. Discharge process
As the cylinder continues to rotate, the plunger moves inward under the action of the swash plate, the volume of the working chamber decreases and the internal pressure rises sharply. When the pressure exceeds the outlet pressure, the outlet check valve opens, and the high-pressure hydraulic oil enters the outlet line of the pump through the crescent-shaped groove of the oil distribution disk, and is finally delivered to the hydraulic system actuator.
4. Variable Control Mechanism
Stepless variable control is realized by adjusting the inclination angle of swash plate:
Increase in inclination angle: the plunger stroke is prolonged, the volume of hydraulic oil discharged in a single rotation is increased, and the pump flow rate rises.
Decrease in tilt angle: the plunger stroke is shortened and the pump flow rate is reduced.
The variable mechanism adjusts the swashplate angle hydraulically or mechanically, so that the output flow of the pump matches the system demand in real time.
5. Continuous Working Cycle
Each plunger completes one suction-discharge cycle for each revolution of the drive shaft. The staggered arrangement of multiple plungers makes the pump output flow continuous and smooth. The variable mechanism and pressure regulation system work together to ensure that the pump can provide stable and efficient hydraulic power under different working conditions.
