The A10VSO series is a Rexroth variable displacement pump with an axial piston and swash plate design, specifically engineered for hydraulic open systems. Its key feature is the ability to achieve stepless flow rate adjustment by regulating the swash plate angle, making it widely used in industrial equipment. This pump delivers high power density, low noise, long service life, and excellent oil suction performance. These characteristics enable the main shaft to withstand both axial and radial loads, while supporting shaft drive configurations for easy integration into multi-loop systems.
Control devices: DR, DRG, DFR, DFR1, DFRL.
The A10VSO series (models A10VSO18, A10VSO28, A10VSO45, A10VSO71, A10VSO100, A10VSO140) are fully interchangeable with original equipment. Featuring a nominal pressure of 280 bar and peak pressure of 350 bar, these valves are designed for use in construction machinery, marine vessels, and industrial equipment.
DR: The pump automatically adjusts its output flow rate to maintain the system's set pressure. This is the most common and cost-effective pressure control solution.
DFR/DFR1: Combines pressure control with load-sensitive flow regulation. It delivers precise flow when the actuator operates and automatically de-loads to low-pressure standby mode when idle, delivering remarkable energy efficiency. This makes it the preferred choice for high-performance hydraulic systems today.
ED: By continuously adjusting the pump's displacement or pressure setting via external electrical signals (e.g., 0-10V), it enables precise and flexible flow control, making it an ideal choice for automated and intelligent equipment.
DG: Maintains the pump's output power (pressure × flow rate) at a near-constant level to prevent the prime mover from overloading, thereby maximizing the efficiency of the engine or motor. This feature is commonly used in mobile equipment with limited power capacity.
The A10VSO pump features an optimized flow channel design and high-quality friction pair materials, effectively reducing internal energy loss and enhancing overall operational efficiency to help users save on operating costs. Despite its compact size and weight, the A10VSO pump delivers exceptional pressure and flow output, enabling equipment manufacturers to save installation space and optimize system layouts. Through innovative disc design, precision flow distribution technology, and advanced housing structure, the pump suppresses flow pulsation and pressure shock, ensuring quieter and smoother operation that meets stringent working environment requirements. Key components of the A10VSO pump are made from high-strength materials with special processing techniques, while the bearing design can withstand both axial and radial loads, guaranteeing stability and extended service life under prolonged high-load operation. The optimized oil intake channel design maintains excellent self-priming capability across a wide range of oil temperatures and viscosities, reducing the need for demanding system configurations.
Common failure modes: Based on maintenance experience, the A10VSO series pumps may develop typical issues after prolonged operation. Insufficient output flow may result from high suction line resistance, inadequate oil replenishment, or internal pump wear and leakage.
The median time of oil discharge is not zero, which is usually caused by the deviation, looseness or wear of the control position of the dependent mechanism.
Vibration and noise: mechanical problems such as misalignment and bearing damage; fluid problems such as oil suction and high viscosity.
Hydraulic pump overheating: Mechanical friction or excessive internal leakage causes energy loss to be converted into heat. Check the clearance and cooling system.
