The A11VO series is a high-performance swashplate-type variable-displacement axial piston pump designed for open-loop hydraulic systems, primarily used in mobile machinery (such as tunnel boring machines, concrete pump trucks, and cranes).
1. High Pressure and Large Displacement: Nominal pressure up to 350 bar, peak pressure 400 bar, with a displacement range from 40 cc to 260 cc.
2. Diverse Control Options: Supports various composite control modes, including constant power (LR), pressure cut-off (D), load-sensing (S), and electro-proportional (EP).
3. Through-shaft Drive Capability: The entire series supports 100% through-shaft drive, allowing auxiliary pumps of the same or smaller displacement to be directly connected in series.
4. Enhanced Suction Performance: Larger models (130–260) can be equipped with a centrifugal pump (impeller), specifically the A11VLO model, to maintain stable suction capacity at higher speeds and prevent cavitation.
5. Typical Control Mode (LRDS)
This is the core advantage of the A11VO. It uses load-sensing to detect pressure changes and adjust displacement in real time; simultaneously, the constant power function ensures output does not exceed engine power, while pressure cutoff reduces displacement to zero during overload to protect the system.

Pressure Rating: The A10VO is primarily used in medium-to-low pressure systems (rated at approximately 280 bar), while the A11VO is a standard high-pressure pump with a rated pressure of up to 350 bar and a peak pressure of 400 bar.
Application Scenarios: The A10VO is commonly found in industrial stations or auxiliary systems for small excavators; the A11VO serves as the main pump for large construction machinery (such as rotary drilling rigs and tunnel boring machines).
Through-shaft Capability: The A11VO features 100% through-shaft drive capability, supporting the series connection of a piston pump of the same specification downstream, whereas the A10VO typically has more restrictions on through-shaft torque.
2. Differences from the A4VSO Series (Industrial Open-loop vs. Travel Open-loop)
Structural Design: The A4VSO is primarily used in industrial closed-loop or open-loop systems and features a heavy-duty construction. The A11VO is specifically optimized for mobile machinery, offering a higher power-to-weight ratio and greater vibration resistance.
Suction Characteristics: For larger models (130–260), the A11VO strongly recommends the integration of a centrifugal booster pump (impeller), specifically the A11VLO model. This design allows the pump to self-prime at higher speeds without requiring a forced back-pressure reservoir, which is critical in engine-driven mobile machinery.
