First, the basic concept of Main Pump
Definition: The Main Pump, or the Main Pump, is a key component in the hydraulic system, responsible for providing high-pressure fluid to drive various actuators in the hydraulic system, such as cylinders, motors, etc.
Function: The main pump plays the role of power source in the hydraulic system, and its performance directly affects the efficiency and stability of the entire hydraulic system. By adjusting the output flow and pressure of the main pump, precise control of the working state of the hydraulic system can be realized.
Second, Main Pump types and applications
Type: There are various types of main pumps, which can be divided into gear pumps, vane pumps, piston pumps, etc. according to the different structures and working principles. Among them, the piston pump has been widely used in construction machinery, shipbuilding, metallurgy and other fields because of its characteristics of high pressure, large flow and high efficiency.
Application: The main pump is widely used in various hydraulic systems, such as excavators, loaders, cranes, ship steering gears, metallurgical equipment, etc. In these equipment, the main pump provides power to the actuators such as hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic motors, and realizes various actions and functions of the equipment.
Third, how the Main Pump works
Positive displacement working principle: Most of the main pumps adopt the positive displacement working principle, that is, oil suction and oil pressure are achieved by changing the volume of the pump chamber. When the volume of the pump chamber increases, a local vacuum is formed, and the oil is sucked in; When the pump chamber volume is reduced, the oil is compressed and discharged.
Pressure & Flow Control: The output pressure and flow of the main pump can be controlled by adjusting its internal pressure and flow valves. By adjusting the opening of these valves, the output performance of the main pump and the working condition of the hydraulic system can be changed.
Fourth, Main Pump maintenance and maintenance
Oil Cleanliness: Maintaining the cleanliness of the oil is key to the maintenance of the main pump. Regularly changing the hydraulic oil, cleaning the oil filter, checking the oil tank and pipelines, etc., can effectively prevent the impurities in the oil from causing wear and clogging to the main pump.
Sealing & Leak Inspection: Components such as seals and check valves of the main pump require regular inspection and maintenance. Once leakage or poor sealing is found, the seal should be replaced or repaired in time to ensure the normal operation of the main pump and the stability of the hydraulic system.
Temperature & Pressure Monitoring: Regular monitoring of the operating temperature and pressure of the main pump can detect and solve potential faults and problems in time. When the temperature is too high or the pressure is abnormal, it should be stopped immediately for inspection and corresponding measures should be taken to deal with it.
