Maintenance of 3 Way Directional Control Valve Ensures Normal Equipment Use

As we all know, the directional control valve is a switching device for exhaust gas and air (or gas fuel) used in storage-type industrial kilns. 3 way directional control valves generally include a valve body and cylinder. The valve body is divided into three chambers, A, B, and C, which are connected to the outside, and sealed material is installed between the valve body and the valve plate. Control system protection for 3 way directional control valves


  • The interfaces on the 3 way directional control valve controller are one-to-one, and inserting them incorrectly may cause damage to the equipment;

  • It is necessary to close the power supply of the controller when plugging and unplugging the interfaces on the controller.

  • If the machine is not used for a long time after the experiment, the controller and computer should be closed;

  • Regularly check whether the connecting wires on the back panel of the 3 way directional control valve controller can be touched. If it is loose, it should be tightened in time.


Oil source protection for 3 way directional control valves


  • According to the usage status of the machine and the oil usage period, regularly replace the oil suction filter and filter element, and replace the hydraulic oil.

  • Regularly check whether there is oil leakage at the mainframe and oil source. If oil leakage is found, replace the sealing ring or combination gasket in time;

  • Pay attention to turning off the mainframe power when not doing experiments for a long time. If the machine is in standby mode, the toggle switch should be set to the "loading" position. If the toggle switch is set to the "quick return" position, the solenoid directional valve will always be energized, which will affect the service life of the equipment.


Mainframe protection for 3 way directional control valves


  • Rust-proof oil should be applied to the fixtures supplied with the machine for storage;

  • Regularly check the screws at the clamp part of the machine. If they are loose, tighten them in time;

  • Regularly check the transmission status of the machine sprocket. If it is loose, re-tighten the tensioning wheel;

  • The sliding surface of the steel plate and lining plate and the dovetail groove surface on the lining plate should be kept clean, and a thin layer of MoS2 (molybdenum disulfide) grease should be applied regularly for lubrication;

  • Because the clamp of the 3 way directional control valve is often used and easily worn, and too much oxidation can cause damage to the small piston and oil leakage, the clamp should be cleaned often and kept clean.
