In the hydraulic systems of heavy-duty mobile machinery, the selection of the main pump directly determines the equipment’s operational efficiency and reliability. The A11VO190 is widely used in large mobile machinery such as excavators, concrete pump trucks, cranes, rotary drilling rigs, tunnel boring machines, and shield machines. Elephant Hydraulic specializes in the R&D and supply of high-quality A11VO190 hydraulic pumps. We strictly adhere to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) process standards and heavy-duty operating condition testing specifications to precisely meet the operational requirements of various large, heavy-duty equipment, ensuring high-pressure stability and long-term durability.
The displacement of the A11VO190 determines its market positioning—it falls within the mid-to-large-size range and is designed for equipment that requires “brute force” and sustained operation. For equipment of moderate tonnage that needs to operate under heavy loads for extended periods, the 190cc displacement is “just right”: it prevents the equipment from being “unable to deliver its full power” due to insufficient displacement, while also avoiding unnecessary procurement and fuel costs associated with an excessively large displacement.
The key to making the most of A11VO190 lies in “three commitments.”
The first rule is to always pre-fill the pump with oil before startup. Before the first startup of the A11VO190, the pump housing must be filled with clean operating oil through the drain port; otherwise, the pump must not be started. Pre-filling the pump with oil during installation to prevent dry running is the first step in avoiding damage to critical components caused by dry friction at the moment of startup. This step is often overlooked, but whether or not it is performed makes a significant difference in the pump’s early failure rate.
The second principle is that oil cleanliness must be strictly controlled. Plunger pumps have tight clearances and are extremely sensitive to oil contamination. When using a new pump, replace the hydraulic oil with clean oil; during operation, regularly check the oil’s cleanliness and replace the filter element on schedule. Contaminants are the most serious hidden hazard for plunger pumps—wear and seizure of internal precision components are mostly caused by contaminated oil. It is recommended to conduct regular oil sample analysis to test viscosity and contamination levels.
The third principle is to focus on three key indicators during routine inspections. Check the oil level and operating temperature of the oil tank daily, and inspect the pump for leaks and changes in noise levels monthly. A noticeable increase in oil leakage from the housing indicates accelerated internal wear of the pump; maintenance should be scheduled in advance rather than waiting until the pump fails completely. Additionally, the pump must be rotating in the correct direction, and it must be connected to the motor via a flexible coupling and aligned concentrically; otherwise, noise, reduced efficiency, and other malfunctions may occur.
Elephant Hydraulic offers one-stop technical services, including professional commissioning tailored to specific operating conditions and standardized maintenance guidance, to help users scientifically match equipment to operating conditions and maintain it properly. This maximizes the performance of the A11VO190 product, effectively reduces equipment failure rates and long-term operating and maintenance costs, and ensures the stable operation of large-scale engineering equipment.
